Experience
I have had the privilege of teaching high school students for over two years now. I can help students improve their reading, writing, English, or other skills. I'm available for standardized test prep if a student is getting ready for the ACT, SAT, or other exam. I can also guide students through the editing process for their essays. I received my degrees in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Memphis. I stayed at the University of Memphis and completed a graduate program in Sociology. I have experience working with students who really struggle with learning, and students who excel academically. As an educator I have worked with students to prepare them for their standardized exams, and I have had an excellent student improvement rate. I have taught through other tutoring agencies with phenomenal feedback from the students. I understand that every student learns differently, and as a tutor I tailor my teaching method to the individual needs of the student. When I'm not teaching or tutoring I coach softball. In my free time I enjoy watching baseball, reading the Harry Potter books, watching good movies, and spending time outdoors in nature.
